Account & data deletion
For users of the Black Cat Events app (Google Play / App Store) and blackcat.events. Follow the steps below to request deletion of your account and associated data.

This process applies to user accounts for Black Cat Events services: the “Black Cat Events” mobile app and the blackcat.events website, as published under the developer / publisher name shown on Google Play and the App Store.
Step 1 — Email us
To request permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data, send an email to the address below from the same email address you used to register your Black Cat Events account.
Suggested subject: “Account deletion request”. In the message body, clearly state that you want your account deleted, and include your display name or handle on the platform so we can process your request unambiguously.
Step 2 — Verification and processing
We may ask for additional information to verify that you own the account. If you do not respond within a reasonable time, the request may be closed without action.
We will acknowledge or process the request within the timeframes required by applicable law (in practice within 30 days of identity verification, unless the case is complex or a legal duty requires otherwise).
Data deleted or anonymised (active account)
After account deletion: login identifiers, profile (display name, account email, preferences), push notification tokens, profile uploads (e.g. photo), and other data stored mainly for your personal use in the Services, where deletion is technically feasible without compromising system integrity.
Data that may be retained (summary)
Some information may be retained where required by law (accounting, tax, response to authorities) or for evidence in disputes, for the statutory or advised retention period.
Aggregated or anonymised data (statistics that no longer identify you) may be kept without a link to your deleted account.
Residual copies may exist temporarily in backups; they are deleted or overwritten according to our rotation cycles (in practice up to 90 days unless a longer retention period is legally required).
Tournament results or rankings may remain visible in anonymised form (no longer linked to your deleted account) where fully removing your competitive history would be technically impracticable without distorting collective rankings — to the extent permitted by law.
